It can be processed using extrusion, injection molding and dry-blending. Recommended dosage is about 0.2-1.0%, depending on the polymer and the desired properties of the finished parts. It has a shelf life of at least 12 months. BRUGGOLEN® H164 by Brüggemann is a non-discoloring antioxidant and heat stabilizer. It is a synergistic mixture of sterically hindered phenolic antioxidants and phosphonates in powder form. Provides long term heat stability in applications up to 150°C, efficient process stabilization against yellowing and degradation. Exhibits low volatility during processing, no deposits (‘plate-out’) on the finished parts after conditioning, excellent compatibility and low extractability. It offers long term protection of bright colored polymers against yellowing, excellent protection against embrittlement and premature fatigue of the mechanical properties of the finished parts under long term stress, both in unreinforced and glass-fiber reinforced or mineral-filled polymers. BRUGGOLEN® H164 is compatible with all polyamides (PA6, PA6.6, PA11, PA12, PA–Copolymers). It can be processed using extrusion, dry blending and injection molding. Recommended dosage is 0.2-0.8%, depending on the polyamide and the desired properties of the finished parts. Shelf life of BRUGGOLEN® H164 is at least 12 months. BRUGGOLEN® TP-H2062 by Brüggemann is a halogen & metal-free, heat stabilizer. It leads to retention of the mechanical performance. This additive offers no corrosion or electro corrosion and contains no ionic components, ions & halogenides. It provides excellent dispersion, easy handling and accurate dosing. It is used for the stabilization of polyamides against thermal aging in unfilled and glass-reinforced polyamides. The addition to the polymer melt is best done by compounding on twin screw extrusion machines. Recommended for electrical and electronics (E&E) applications (CTI 600V) at elevated temperatures. The level of addition of BRUGGOLEN® TP-H2062 is 4.0-6.0%, depending on the desired properties of the finished parts. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
