It is an alcohol, containing three hydroxyl groups and a primary amino group (-NH<sub>2</sub>) as the starting point. It is produced by reacting epoxide with a multifunctional initiator in the presence of a catalyst. LUPRANOL 3300 exhibits low viscosity. It is suitable for rigid foams. LUPRANOL 2042 by BASF is a polyether polyol (triol). It is an alcohol, containing three hydroxyl groups and a primary amino group (-NH<sub>2</sub>) as the starting point. It is produced by reacting epoxide with a multifunctional initiator in the presence of a catalyst. LUPRANOL 2042 is suitable for flexible foams.
