Irganox® 1010

Irganox® 1010 by BASF is pentaerythritol tetrakis[3-[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl]propionate. It is an odorless and tasteless, sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant. It is a highly effective, non-discoloring, long-term stabilizer which protects organic substrates such as plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers against thermo-oxidative degradation. It shows good compatibility, high resistance to extraction and low volatility. Irganox® 1010 is suitable for polyolefins & olefin copolymers, polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, polyacetals, polyamides, polyurethanes, polyesters and PVC applications. It is also recommended for the processing of styrene homo- & copolymers, ABS, synthetic rubber, elastomers such as butyl rubber (IIR), SBS, SEBS, EPM and EPDM. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.1% for polymer and 0.05-0.4% for polyolefins.

Irganox® 1076

Irganox® 1076 by BASF is octadecyl-3-[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl]propionate]. It is an odorless, highly efficient, sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant which provides processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It offers light stability & excellent color retention. It protects the organic substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation. Exhibits low volatility and high resistance to extraction. It can be used in combination with other additives such as costabilizers (thioethers, phosphites, phosphonites), light stabilizers, and other functional stabilizers. Irganox® 1076 is suitable for polyolefins, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, polybutene-1, styrene homo- & copolymers, engineering plastics and elastomers applications. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.2% for polymer, 0.1-0.4% for polyolefin and 0.1-0.3% for styrene homo- and copolymers.

Irganox® 1330

Irganox® 1330 by BASF is 3,3',3',5,5',5'-hexa-tert-butyl-a,a',a'-(mesitylene-2,4,6-triyl) tri-p-cresol. It is a sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It is a highly effective stabilizer for organic substrates such as polymers, synthetic fibers and elastomers. It offers high extraction resistance and excellent dielectrical properties. Irganox® 1330 protects the substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation. It reduces water carry-over in polypropylene tape extrusion. It is suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, linear polyesters, polyamides, PVC, polyurethane, styrene homo- and copolymers applications. Designed for use in pipes, wires & cables, molded articles and dielectric films. It is particularly recommended for polyolefin applications requiring good water extraction resistance combined with low color development. Recommended dosage level for polyolefin is 0.05-0.3%.

Irganox® 1135

Irganox® 1135 by BASF is benzenepropanoic acid, 3,5-bis (1,1-dimethyl-ethyl)-4-hydroxy-C7-C9 branched alkyl esters. It is 100% active, sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. Irganox® 1135 prevents the formation of peroxides in the polyol during storage, and transport, and further protects against scorching during foaming. Its low volatility and excellent compatibility helps to prevent fogging in automotive applications and to prevent staining of textiles (furniture, carpeting and head rests). It is used in forced air cooling processes for polyurethane and for the stabilization of flexible slabstock foams. Recommended usage level is between 0.15-0.5%.

Irganox® 1035

Irganox® 1035 by BASF is a sulfur containing primary phenolic antioxidant and heat stabilizer. It provides efficient processing stabilization, long-term thermal stability, excellent system compatibility and low color. It is compatible with polymers including polyolefins, polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, styrene homo- and copolymers. Irganox® 1035 is used in linear polyesters, PVC, polyamides, polyurethanes as well as elastomers such as SBS, EPR, EPDM and other synthetic rubbers. It is suitable for use in carbon black containing wire and cable resins. The recommended usage level is 0.2-0.3%.

Irganox® B 561

Irganox® B 561 by BASF is a processing and long-term thermal stabilizer system designed for use with polyolefins and olefin-copolymers. It is a blend of 80% Irgafos® 168 and 20% Irganox® 1010. It maintains original melt flow and offers low color formation. Irgafos® 168, an organic phosphite of low volatility and particularly resistant to hydrolysis, protects the polymers which are prone to oxidation. Irganox® 1010, a hindered phenolic antioxidant, contributes synergistically to polymer stabilization during processing and provides long-term thermal stability by preventing thermo-oxidative degradation. Irganox® B 561 is suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers application. It is also used in engineering plastics, styrene homo- and copolymers, polyurethanes and elastomers. Recommended dosage level in polyolefins is 0.1-0.25%.

Irganox® 5057

Irganox® 5057 by BASF is a 100% active, aromatic amine antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It contains benzenamine, n-phenyl-, reaction products with 2,4,4-trimethylpentene. Irganox® 5057 exhibits low volatility, high efficiency and prevents thermal degradation of polymers. Suitable for elastomers, polyols and polyurethane applications. It is used in manufacturing of flexible polyurethane slabstock foams. It offers scorch protection during foaming. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.4%.
