SAYTEX® 621 Flame Retardant

SAYTEX® 621 Flame Retardant by Albemarle is a physical blend of brominated polystyrene and polyester resin. It provides good flame retardancy. It exhibits an excellent balance of low melt viscosity, excellent mechanical properties and high thermal stability. It is a non-blooming additive that works well in unfilled, fiberglass and fiberglass/mineral-reinforced composites. It is designed specifically for injection-molding grades of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). It is used in the production of thin-walled, complex-geometry parts such as electrical connectors. This grade can be used globally and is fully acceptable from an environmental perspective. It is listed with EINECS and MITI inventories. SAYTEX® 621 Flame Retardant follows strict environmental standards, such as RoHS, and supports VECAP & green chemistry principles.
