SP-1045 Resin

SP-1045 Resin (Old Name: Akrochem® P-101) by Akrochem is a heat reactive, phenolic resin-based tackifier used in the resin curing of butyl rubbers. It is suitable in combination with halogen and zinc donors, yields butyl vulcanizates with outstanding resistance to high heat and compression set. It exhibits non-blooming, non-staining, high modulus values and inherent ozone resistance. It is designed for tire curing bladders, conveyor belts, gaskets and heat resistant packing compounds. It shows compatibility with other elastomers. Recommended dosage level of SP-1045 Resin in butyl is 10-12 phr, chloro-butyl is 4-5 phr and bromo-butyl 1-3 phr.

SP-154 Resin

SP-154 Resin (Old Name: Akrochem® P-105) by Akrochem is a heat reactive phenolic resin-based tackifier, that was developed for the formulation of solvent-borne polychloroprene cement. It is used in general purpose and heat-activating contact cement. It offers high heat resistance, cohesive strength, shorter time and light color. SP-154 Resin shows compatibility with nitrile- and chloroprene rubber.

Zinc Oxide RGT-AZ066

Zinc Oxide RGT-AZ066 by Akrochem acts as a cure activator in rubber compounds. It is particularly suited for white and colored rubber products where superior color is essential. It is a high general-purpose French process zinc oxide made from zinc metal coated with propionic acid. It is useful in non -black articles to protect from UV weathering. Additionally, the material’s superior heat transfer properties are beneficial in dynamic rubber applications, where internal heat buildup must be managed effectively. Recommended dosage level of Zinc Oxide RGT-AZ066 is 10 phr.
