Plasticolors® CF-02811

Supplied byVibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo)- Last Updated on Oct 12, 2022

Plasticolors® CF-02811 by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a black color carbon black pigment. It is pumpable, flowable and pourable in a manner that makes it exceptionally easy to handle. Ability to achieve low viscosity allows for less waste left over in the container.
  • Pigment solid concentration is optimized to balance viscosity with the color strength.
  • It contains no solvents or reactive monomers.
  • It is heavy metal-free and produces high tint strength.
  • It is dispersed in a low molecular weight unsaturated polyester resin.
  • The unsaturation allows for cross-linking through double bonds as occurs in peroxide-cured polyesters or vinyl esters in the presence of a reactive monomer, such as styrene.
  • In addition, the secondary hydroxyl groups provide a means to crosslink the resin with polyisocyanates.
  • When cross-linked with or covalently reacted the CF resin is fully converted to a portion of the matrix solids.
  • It is also compatible with acrylate monomers.
  • It is best suited for the SMC, BMC, TMC, pultrusion, polyester cast and polymer concrete processes.
  • It offers good light and weather fastness.
  • It can also be used in panel and cast polymer.
  • Plasticolors® CF-02811 has a shelf-life of 24 months.
