Therm-Chek® 832 by Valtris Specialty Chemicals is a modified dibutyl tin maleate stabilizer. It minimizes color degradation in polymer systems during manufacturing applications. It prevents free halogen from attacking the polymer systems or the processing equipment. It has high halogen absorber efficiency and is normally used in flame retarded systems. Applications of Therm-Chek® 832 include FR ABS systems, polystyrene and expanded polystyrene FR systems and PVC/ABS alloys.
