IR 5980PC

IR 5980PC by Tosaf is a very efficient near-infrared absorber with wide absorbance spectrum between 700-1500 nm. It contains heat-managem IR screener. Prevents interior spaces from heating up excessively. Provides high transparency and greenish tint. Can be added to the bulk or can be applied as a co-extruded layer. It adds a highly effective IR selectivity to extruded polycarbonate sheets used to shield interior spaces from excessive heat build-up. Used in lightweight construction sheets. IR 5980PC recommended addition level is 1-6% and even at as low as just 3 % provides a good CF (cooling factor) value of 1.17.
