ADINS® Clay SIL-1 by Tolsa is an organically modified, high purity, ultra-fine and natural occurring needle-like silicate. Product is available on request in different coated versions. ADINS® Clay SIL-1 works synergistically with most of flame retardants on polymeric systems, strongly boosting char formation during combustion and protecting polymer from further fire propagation. ADINS® Clay SIL-1 is suitable for different substrate such as thermoplastics & elastomers (specially for silicones, PVC, PC) and others under development.
