Regalite™ R1010 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a tackifier. It is a liquid hydrogenated, water-white, low molecular weight resin derived from petrochemical feedstocks. It has a low affinity for the styrene end block in the block copolymer due to which it provides superior tack properties with good cohesive strength. It imparts unique chemical and molecular structures. It is compatible with EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) copolymers. Regalite™ R1010 Hydrocarbon Resin is used in tires, specialty- and non-food contact tapes. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
