Synsorb -1577 by Synchemer is a 2-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-5-[(hexyl)oxy]-phenol. It is a UV absorber available in slightly yellow colored powder form. Synsorb -1577 is compatible with polymer blends & alloys, such as PC/ABS, PC/PBT, PPE/IPS, PPE/PA and copolymers. It is suitable for polyalkene terephthalates, naphthalates, linear and branched polycarbonates, modified polyphenylene ether compounds and homo-, co- or terpolymer structural compositions in thermoplastics. It is also suitable for reinforced, filled or flame retarded compounds, which can be transparent, translucent or pigmented products.
