Euvinyl® C Black 00-5402

Supplied bySun Chemical (DIC)- Last Updated on Aug 4, 2025

Euvinyl® C Black 00-5402 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a carbon black pigment. It is an organic pigment in the optimum distribution in a powder mixture with a solvent-soluble copolymer of vinyl chloride. It is mainly used for mass-coloring PVC-u, PVC-p, plastisols and PVC copolymers. It is also well suitable for the production of pigmented plasticizer pastes. In general, it has no influence on the stability of the PVC colored with them. However, being a manganese lake may cause catalytic degradation of PVC if plasticizers based on unsaturated fatty acids are present and no adequate stabilizer is used. It is sufficiently stable to heat and shows good to excellent light-, migration fastness as well as heat resistance properties. Euvinyl® C Black 00-5402 is designed as a colorant for food packaging.
