Durez® 13037 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a viscous thermoplastic phenolic resin. Acts as a softener to impart reinforcement to compounding nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) stocks during vulcanization. It requires the addition of hexamethylenetetramine to get thermosetting properties. Durez® 13037 has a shelf life of 12 months.
