TERATE® HT 5511

TERATE® HT 5511 by Stepan Company is an aromatic polyester polyol with improved flammability and physical properties. It is formulated for hydrocarbon blown PIR laminate systems requiring higher acid number and hydroxyl number. It delivers burn performance in industry testing, forming char with minimum shrinkage and high weight retention. It helps to reduce flame retardant loading and smoke development in polyurethane and polyisocyanurate rigid foam formulations. It can be used as a partial replacement of traditional polyether polyols with minor formulation adjustments. TERATE® HT 5511 improves ease of processing during rigid foam production and adhesion to various substrates.
