TERATE® HT 5510

TERATE® HT 5510 by Stepan Company is an aromatic polyester polyol for hydrocarbon blown PIR laminate systems, flexible-faced board stock and metal-faced sandwich panels. It has high acid and hydroxyl number. It exhibits improved flammability and physical properties. It delivers burn performance in industry testing, forming char with minimum shrinkage and high weight retention. It improves ease of processing during rigid foam production and adhesion to various substrates. TERATE® HT 5510 can be used as a partial replacement of traditional polyether polyols with minor formulation adjustments. It helps to reduce flame retardant loading and smoke development in polyurethane and polyisocyanurate rigid foam formulations.
