Antioxidant FR by Songwon is 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline polymer-based primary antioxidant. It is used in dry rubber application to maintain physical as well as surface properties with good color, very good anti-scorch, and good heat resistance-at low concentrations. This high purity TMQ is manufactured by controlling the reaction and process to concentrate functional composition within a narrow molecular weight distribution. Also, has high dimer content and reduced impurities including bis-products results in higher compatibility with rubbers, reduced bloom, as well as reduced fuming during processing. Low primary amine content minimizes undesirable dissolution of sulfur in rubber matrix. Antioxidant FR provides good synergistic effects with 3C or 6C.
