BLANC FIXE™ K3 by Solvay is synthetic barium sulfate. Exhibits lower absorption, diffuse reflectance and high translucence in both the UV, visual and IR ranges. It is obtained from highly purified solutions by means of a growth process. BLANC FIXE™ K3 is suitable for use in all transparent plastics (e.g. PC, PMMA, PET, etc.).
