Lumilux® effect green N by Solstice Advanced Materials has chemical composition of ZnS:Cu. It gives green fluorescence when it is excited by white light and uv radiations. It is insoluble in water, alkalies, organic solvents and decomposed by acids. It is usable for thermoplastics, thermosetting plastics, enamel, ceramics. Lumilux® effect green N mainly used in afterglow plastic sheets and paints for optical effects. It is permitted by the European norm EN 71-3: safety of toys - part 3: migration of certain elements.
