KBM 403 by Shin-Etsu is 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane. Used as a silane coupling agent for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, acryl, polyvinyl chloride and polycarbonate.
- Also recommended for nylon, urethane, PBT/PET, ABS, melamine, phenol and epoxy.
- Designed for polyimide, diallylphtalate, unsaturated polyester, furan and SBR.
- Also used for nitrile-, epichlorhydrin-, butyl-, polysulfide and urethane rubber.
- KBM 403 is suitable for organic- and water based system.
