KBM 403 by Shin-Etsu is 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane. Used as a silane coupling agent for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, acryl, polyvinyl chloride and polycarbonate.
  • Also recommended for nylon, urethane, PBT/PET, ABS, melamine, phenol and epoxy.
  • Designed for polyimide, diallylphtalate, unsaturated polyester, furan and SBR.
  • Also used for nitrile-, epichlorhydrin-, butyl-, polysulfide and urethane rubber.
  • KBM 403 is suitable for organic- and water based system.
  • It improves mechanical strength, electrical properties, moisture- and chemical resistance.
