HyMax® 213 by Shanghai Langyi Functional Materials is a non-toxic, highly efficient, environmentally friendly, polycarbodiimide-based anti-hydrolysis agent. It can effectively restrain the mechanical properties degradation of thermoplastics polyesterpolyurethanes (TPU), millable urethane rubber, PA and polyester materials (PET, PBT, TPE), caused by hydrolysis.
- It can actives carboxyl-terminated end of the polyester.
- It can repairs the amputated molecules by cross-linking with carboxyl groups, thereby prolonging the service life of the products.
- It exhibits good thermal stability, low odor during process, high activity reacts rapidly with carboxyl group and residue acid value and inhibits viscosity drop.
- It can significantly improves the anti-hydrolysis resistance (tensile strength, elongation) of TPU and PUR.
- Its recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.0 phr.
- HyMax® 213 has a shelf life of 1 year.
