sil-cell 42 BC by sh minerals is an aluminium silicate. Acts as a filler. Exhibits very low density (0.18-0.30 g/cm³), is free-flowing, inert, frost-, temperature-, chemical-resistant, neutral in odor, environment-friendly, incombustible, resistant to thermal shocks. Helps in reduction of density and hence weight savings of end products, improvement of profitability due to reduction of the need for binders and resins, good flow properties, improved head and noise protection, reduction of shrinking, improved results of flexural strengths and impact strengths, increased resistance to chemicals, low water absorption, increase of packing densities and bonding strengths. sil-cell 42 BC is suitable for use in products made of polyester-, epoxid-, phenolic resin and polyurethane, Light- SMC und –BMC, glass fiber (GRP), PVC-plastisols.
