SR 644 by Sartomer (Arkema Group) is polypropylene glycol (400) dimethacrylate. It is water soluble and provides high flexibility, good chemical resistance, low shrinkage and high abrasion resistance.
- It exhibits good hardness and good water resistance.
- It does not support high temperatures, localized heat sources (ie, drum or band heaters), oxidizing conditions, freezing conditions, direct sunlight, ultraviolet radiation, and inert gas blanketing.
- It should not be used with strong oxidizers, strong reducers, free radical initiators, inert gases, and oxygen scavengers.
- SR 644 also produces films and is used in plastisols.
