Albasoft 110 by Sachtleben Minerals is a pure barium sulphate-based functional filler. It is acid-resistant, low in calcium carbonate, has low electrical conductivity and guarantees a low binder requirement. It is easily dispersible, helps to create a maximum gloss, hiding power, shine and brilliance.
- It has high radiation absorption and brightness, a reliably low yellow tint and color neutrality due to low refractive index.
- It offers increased chemical resistance, weather resistance and long-term stability in e.g. outdoor applications.
- It shows increased tensile strength, elongation at break, impact strength (charpy), dimensional stability and a smoother appearance of the surface.
- It has sound insulation properties, flame resistance and electrical behavior in e.g. casting compound.
- In thermoplastics, it enables the partial replacement of color pigments and masterbatches.
