MERACRYL® HEMA 98 (Formerly VISIOMER® HEMA 98) by Roehm is 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate. It is a functional monomer based on hydroxyester that can copolymerize with other monomers to produce copolymers with a hydroxy group in the side chain. It provides permanent marring and solvent resistance, high gloss retention and weatherability. It has a shelf life of 6 months. MERACRYL® HEMA 98 is registered in REACH.
