Rhenocure® ZDT/S

Rhenocure® ZDT/S by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining specialty accelerator for rapid vulcanization of EPDM and other diene rubbers not containing any secondary amines which can form N-nitrosamines. It possesses high solubility and dispersion in all conventional rubber products. It demonstrates excellent reversion and heat aging resistance in NR, when used in optimum proportions. It gives a high degree of cross-linking in IR, IIR, NBR, SBR and natural rubber. Rhenocure® ZDT/S is particularly suitable for colored, transparent or translucent compounds, as it shows excellent solubility and non-staining characteristics. It is used in combination with sulfenamide, thiazole, thiuram, carbamate and guanidine as a secondary accelerator in the sulfur vulcanization of rubber. It is suitable in injection-molded and extruded technical articles like profiles, hoses, sheeting and tank linings. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
