Aktiplast® PP

Aktiplast® PP by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter for elastomer compounds such as natural rubber. It decreases the viscosity of compounds based on NR resulting in an easier processing. It leads to higher extrusion rates, better dimensional stability and a constant level of die swell. It provides a good dispersion of the fillers and rubber chemicals in the compound. It enhances scorch behavior, promotes vulcanization and makes de-molding much easier, leaving the mold clean depending on the composition of mixture. It is designed for tires, molded and extruded products and hard rubber. Aktiplast® PP has a shelf life of 3 years and recommended dosage level is 2-3 phr.
