Aktiplast® MS

Aktiplast® MS by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a multi-functional processing promoter for diene rubber, mainly based on NR, IR and blends of NR/IR. It decreases the batch viscosity of rubber products, due to the activating effect of the filler substance. In this additive, higher molecular weight zinc soaps allow faster incorporation of fillers. Aktiplast® MS reduces the mixing cycle time and improves the rheological features in rubber and blends. It enhances the handling of batches with high filler content and decreases the related processing problems with a higher filler content. Recommended dosage level is 1-3 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
