Aflux® 54 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter for compound-based on synthetic rubber. It improves the absorption of all kinds of fillers and the extrusion properties of the compounds.
- It reduces sticking to mixer units and aids removal of vulcanizates from the mold.
- It decreases the viscosity of rubber compounds, resulting in an easier processing and a faster compounding.
- Aflux® 54 promotes the de-molding of press-cured articles and reduces mold-fouling.
- It is suitable for AU, CO, ECO, FKM, technical molded and extruded products.
- The recommended dosage level for FKM is 1-2 phr and for ECO, CO, EPDM, CSM, IIR is 2-4 phr.
- It has a shelf life of 3 years.
