Metapor®

Metapor® by Poraver is a reactive pozzolanic hardening additive for cement- and lime-based binder systems and filler for plastic applications. It is a metakaolin with small amounts of fine expanded glass. This product offers very high & fast activity in the lime-binding process and densification of the material structure. It increases strength in mineral systems. It improves the resistance against sulfate attack and the rheological properties of materials. It shows low swelling-shrinking behavior. It is used as a substitute for binder results in material savings. It significantly improves the characteristics of mineral construction materials, ceramic products and plastics components. This product is used in concrete, mortar, plaster, stucco and geopolymers. Metapor® is also used as a fluxing agent and whitener for ceramic products.
