FK PE 50S

FK PE 50S by Polytechs is a high concentration masterbatch containing 50% refined zeolite deodorizing powder in LDPE base resin. It removes odors and certain gases (eg. ethylene etc) from containers, wraps and barrier films. It can also be used with antifogging and antistatic agents. FK PE 50S is more hydrophobic than other zeolites so it will not absorb water vapor or moisture, but will focus on order-causing compounds. The anti-odorizing effect is obtained by a fine particle size, high performance molecular sieve which attracts odors and traps them within its porous structure, effectively eliminating odors. It is compatible with all other grades of PE and EVA. Typical addition rates are between 2-4% masterbatch depending on desired effect. It is approved for contact with food as outlined by FDA and ECC legislation.
