AXCIDE MBS PLUS by Planet Chemicals is an aqueous formulation of 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) and 1, 2 benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). Acts as a liquid biocide. It controls the growth of bacteria, fungi, yeast and molds. It can inhibit a wide range of micro-organisms for example bacteria such as achromobacter sp, aeromonas sp, alcaligenes sp, bacillus sp, escherichia coli, flavobacterium sp, klebsiella sp, proteus sp, pseudomonas sp, streptomyces sp and molds such as aspergillums sp, cephalosporium sp, cladosporium sp, fusarium sp, saccharomyces cerevisiae. Offers a broad spectrum activity, good long-term thermal and pH stability with significantly reduced sensitivity. Its chemical dosage is 0.1-0.4% of total amount to be preserved and it depends on product preserved as well as environment of exposure. AXCIDE MBS PLUS is used in polymer emulsion applications.
