Saniconcentrate™

Supplied byParx Materials- Last Updated on Mar 23, 2021

Saniconcentrate™ by Parx Materials reduces COVID-19 virus on surfaces by up to 99% in 24 hours. It provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial performance but has also been proven to be effective against viruses, molds and fungi, biofilm and fouling. Unlike other antimicrobial options, it achieves this without biocides, leaching or harmful side effects, creating a breakthrough option for applications like touch surfaces in public areas, medical devices or food contact applications. It is unaffected by humidity, light and temperature. It is inspired by the defense mechanisms of the human body. This 100% safe & biocompatible additive is homogenously incorporated into plastics to create an immune system inherent to the material. It does not contain toxic substances, silver, triclosan, nano-materials or any other harmful chemicals. It uses a trace element abundantly found in the body to prevent bacteria and viruses from adhering to surfaces. Also, causes them to run through their usual lifecycle and die within hours. It offers improved mechanical/physical properties on the surface that are bio-inspired. It does not impact the original characteristics of product. It is compatible with PP, PU, PET, PE, PS, PA, PVC, ABS and PMMA. Also, does not affect color, strength, transparency, UV- resistance and aging characteristics. Saniconcentrate™ is suitable for injection molding, extrusion and blow molding. It does not fade or wear off over time, there is no shelf life on the technology.
