Omyacarb™ 15 by Omya is a calcium carbonate for polymer-based flooring systems. It allows high filler levels with low plasticizer absorption and high packing density. It is used in the backing layers on a high level, whereas in the upper layers (decorative and top layers) no calcium carbonate is applied due to transparency requirements. Omyacarb™ 15 is recommended for PVC applications such as semi-rigid LVT systems.
