Cadox® M-50a DVR by Nouryon is a special purpose curing agent for the room temperature cure of promoted unsaturated polyester resins. It is methyl ethyl ketone peroxide solution in 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol diisobutanoate with vanishing red indicator. It has low-hydrogen peroxide content which provides improved curing of vinyl ester resins. Cadox® M-50a DVR has a high MEKP monomer content which may provide reduced cure times in some resin systems. It offers all the advantages of a red MEKP, except red parts.
