Cadox® D-50 Red

Cadox® D-50 Red by Nouryon is a multipurpose catalyst based on methyl ethyl ketone peroxide. It is used for curing promoted unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature. It includes a red indicator system which visualizes hot & cold spots, shrinkage problems, mass effects, thermal effects of core materials and dead flow zones in applications like vacuum infusion. It has low hydrogen peroxide content which reduces gel-coat porosity and improves curing of vinyl ester resins. It also has high monomer content which offers reduced cure times in some resin systems. Cadox® D-50 Red is suitable for centrifugal casting, continuous laminating, resin transfer molding, spray fillers, hand lay-up and spray-up applications. The shelf life is 3 months.
