Butanox® M-50 by Nouryon is a medium-reactive, general purpose MEKP with low water content for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is particularly suitable for the curing of laminating resins, moreover the manufacture of light resistant parts may be possible contrary to the curing system benzoyl peroxide/amine accelerator. Butanox® M-50 is used in resin transfer molding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. It is also suitable for GRP curing systems e.g marine applications. The shelf life of this product is 6 months.
