Butanox® LPT-IN by Nouryon is methyl ethyl ketone peroxide for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is suitable for those applications where a long gel time or production time is required. It is recommended for the cure of vinyl ester resins. Butanox® LPT-IN is suitable for extra slow-gelling and marine applications. It is specially designed for filament winding, continuous laminating, resin transfer molding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. It is listed in TSCA. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
