ChopVantage® HP 3610 by Nippon Electric Glass is a chopped strand from NEG and is designed to reinforce a wide range of polyamide (PA) formulations, especially PA6, PA66, PA46, PA610 and PA612. It combines excellent feeding characteristics, high gloss and superior dry as molded mechanical properties and excellent performance in impact modified polyamide resin systems.
- It exhibits an outstanding resistance to ethylene glycol-based cooling systems and excellent performance in impact-modified formulations.
- It is an excellent fit for high throughput compounding systems due to its excellent flow characteristics and low viscosity during extrusion and molding.
- Provides uniform dispersion during the compounding process.
- Excellent mechanical properties in combination with environmentally friendly flame retardants.
- ChopVantage® HP 3610 shows high impact properties and fatigue resistance.
- It also possesses high hydrolysis resistance properties in several long-life coolant (LLC) systems.
- It is APE-free, as well as, French potable water contact compliance.
- Compliant with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and EU 10/2011 for repeated-use food contact applications.
- It has a shelf life of 2 years.
