UV-928

UV-928 by MPI Chemie is benzotriazole-based UV light absorber. It dissipates the absorbed light energy from UV rays as heat by reversible intramolecular proton transfer. This reduces the absorption of UV rays by the polymer matrix and hence reduces the rate of weathering. For outdoor applications, it is combined with hindered amine light stabilizer such as LS-123 (for acid-catalyzed systems) or LS-292 (for 2K PUR).
