UV-3039 (MPI Chemie)

UV-3039 by MPI Chemie is cyanoacrylate-based UV absorber. It imparts excellent light stability to variety of polymers. It dissipates the absorbed light energy from UV rays as heat by reversible intramolecular proton transfer. This reduces the absorption of UV rays by the polymer matrix and hence reduces the rate of weathering. UV-3039 shows good compatibility with plasticizers. It is suitable for the stabilization of PVC-p and PVC plastisol. Also, used in PUR, polyesters and PMMA. Recommended for building applications.
