HPCTP

HPCTP by MPI Chemie is cyclic phenoxyphosphazene-based flame retardant. This thermally and hydrolytically stable additive possesses favorable electrical properties. It shows higher heat distortion temperature compared to aromatic bisphosphates. HPCTP is used in PC, epoxy resin and PC/ABS resins (transparent & colored applications including LED). It is effective in PC/ABS at 12-15 wt% providing a UL94 V-0 rating, while the oxygen index can reach 33%. When used in benzoxazine resin glass cloth laminate, the mass fraction is 10%, V-0 flame retardancy ratio and parallel breakdown voltage is 47KV. The oxygen index of the polythene is 30-33.
