NL1010DB by Mitsubishi Chemical is a biomass-based linear polycarbonate diol (with hydroxyl groups at both ends). It easily reacts with isocyanate compounds (such as MDI, TDI, IPDI, H12MDI) and generate polymers with superior characteristics. Exhibits higher chemical (oleic acid- & ethanol) resistance, abrasion resistance, flexibility at low temperature, mechanical properties & non-crystallinity & handling and similar hardness to 16HD polycarbonate diol. Possesses weather resistance & hydrolysis resistance and offers durability. NL1010DB is suitable for polyurethane, acrylic resin and polyester resin applications. Used in artificial leather (synthetic), waterborne urethane, thermoset & thermoplastic elastomers (TSU & TPU), urethane acrylated & diacrylated compounds & resins and polyester elastomers (TPEE).
