POLYPET® PT AB 050

POLYPET® PT AB 050 by LyondellBasell is an antiblocking masterbatch having optical properties as well as high scratch resistance for all kind of PET films type cast, blown and BOPET. It avoids blocking during wind up, regulates the slip and antistatic properties of additivated films and allows a smooth unwinding and slitting of the reels. It contains 5% synthetic silicate in cPET. It should be selected when the standard anti blocking masterbatches based on synthetic silica cause too many scratches when the film runs over metal surfaces or cause an objectionable optical defects/high surface roughness. POLYPET® PT AB 050 is recommended for metallizable films.
