LUVOBATCH® UC BA 5546

LUVOBATCH® UC BA 5546 by Lehmann & Voss is a carbonate-based endothermal blowing agent. It is a dust-free, low-cost masterbatch. It exhibits controlled foaming process, good dispersion, improved heat & noise insulation, better dielectric properties and shock absorbing properties. It offers shorter cycle times, safe dosage, streaking reduction, decorative effects and avoidance of post-inflation.

• It is used in cast film-, blown film-, sheet extrusion, TSG & sink marks and injection molding applications.
• It shows prevention of sink marks during injection molding.
• It has a very fine cell structure and higher dosing quantities compared to exothermic TMs.
• The processing temperature is approximately 10°C higher than decomposition temperature.
• It is suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polystyrene (PS) applications.
• Recommended dosage level of LUVOBATCH® UC BA 5546 is 0.5 to 4%.
• It is approved for food packaging.
