LUVOBATCH® PE BA 5137 by Lehmann & Voss is an endothermal blowing agent. It offers good dispersion, short cycle times, streaking reduction, avoidance of post-inflation and decorative effects. It is a dust-free, low-cost masterbatch with a very fine cell structure. It exhibits controlled foaming process, good dispersion, improved heat & noise insulation, better dielectric properties and shock absorbing properties.
- It shows prevention of sink marks during injection molding.
- The processing temperature is approx. 10°C higher than decomposition temperature.
- It has higher dosing quantities compared to exothermic TMs.
- It is suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and polystyrene (PS).
- It is used in cast film-, blown film extrusion, TSG & sink marks and NUC applications.
- Recommended dosage level of LUVOBATCH® PE BA 5137 is 0.5 to 4%.
- It is approved for food packaging.
