Colortherm® Red 180 M by LANXESS is a heat-stable, micronized iron oxide pigment. It does not migrate and is very light-fast and weather stable. It possesses good dispersibility, even in processes which have short dwell times and relatively low shear forces. It is easy to break down and distribute to reach its final tinting strength quickly. It is developed particularly for applications where high heat stability is required. Colortherm® Red 180 M is recommended for rubber polymer, coloring plastics or masterbatches and also used in the field of wood-plastic composites. It has a shelf life of 10 years.
