AXION® DP 5021 by Lanxess is diisopropyldimethoxysilane-based catalyst. It is used as stereo-modifiers (stereo-regulators) in the production of polypropylene. It plays an essential role in the polymerization reaction by increasing the isotacticity. It can minimize undesired tactic resins. AXION® DP 5021 is recommended for the manufacture of specific polyolefin grades with advanced Ziegler-Natta catalysts.
