Addolink® THPE by LANXESS is a crosslinking agent for the production of branched polycarbonates. It is suitable for both common production processes the interfacial and the melt process.
- In the melt process, it can directly be added at the beginning of the process when the reaction components are melted.
- It can obtain branched polycarbonates with a pronounced pseudoplastic behavior.
- It is used for the production of large hollow bodies by the extrusion blow molding or injection stretch blow molding process or for the production of twin-wall sheets and profiles with single-screw extruders.
- It can be diluted in organic solvents.
- Addolink® THPE has a shelf-life of 24 months.
