3-Methyl- 1,5- pentanediol (adipate and terephthalate in the ratio of 5:5). It is a polyester polyol. It is tough, hydrophobic, heat-, water- and cold resistant. It is resistant to hydrolysis, alkali and oleic acid. It has low viscosity and provides good adhesion. Used in special foam, shoe soles, automotive interior and coinjection molding applications.
