CirKular+™ C2000 by KRATON is a multi-resin compatibilizer and performance enhancement additive for upcycling mixed post-consumer (PCR) and post-industrial (PIR) polyolefinic streams suitable for multiple end use applications. It offers end product durability & aesthetics, superior mechanical properties, high impact strength at room & low temperature and flexibility in tailoring properties. Also, displays tailored balance between stiffness & impact and enhanced stress crack resistance. CirKular+™ C2000 provides higher post-consumer & post-industrial content, improved product recyclability, lightweighting & downgauging and positive environmental impact with lower CO2 emissions and plastic waste reduction. It shows multi-resin compatibility across virgin plastics, post-consumer and post-industrial resin waste streams, polyolefins and polyolefinic blends: PP, HDPE, MDPE, LLDPE & LDPE, metallocenes, polystyrene and high impact polystyrene, polar resins: EVOH, PVA, EVA and wood plastic composites. It is suitable for compounding and dry blending extrusion, injection & blow molding films and thermoforming multi-layer film structures. Recommended for rigid packaging (food or non-food), flexible packaging and films, automotive consumer products and industrial building & construction. Depending on the target performance requirements and different resins used in the formulation, typical addition levels range from 3 to 10% weight.
